If you were on [CHAT]...
Jan. 23rd, 2005 12:40 pm...you'd get links to things like the Idiotarod. Go. It's funny. If you're in New York, enter the race, or find friends to enter the race and laugh at them.
In other news, a drunk
uncleamos can be all sorts of entertaining. Drunken bridge was priceless (the double of Jawaad's moronic 4NT overcall of 4S was accompanied by a forceful table slam from the drunkard (one of many for the night)).
creed_of_hubris's tale of drunken Settlers (he had to ask about the numbers; he couldn't see them) was similarly amusing. I also beat him at Puerto Rico (lesson: if there are two corn whores, don't be the one who goes second in the rotation), but I think I already have that point. There were many other drunken things said, but they shouldn't be repeated.
In other news, snow is cool, public safety is good for driving me home, spending more than six hours straight in Sharples more than once in a week probably isn't healthy.
The ankle continues to heal, I can hobble around decently well without the crutch, but not so much while not wearing shoes. It also stiffens up in the cold. PT at the fieldhouse is going well, the whirlpool does wonders. Tendons are starting to become visible. This is good.
Mmm...two and half hours until kickoff...
