So I'm strongly considering putting together a 'Create your own Subscription" package for the Philly orchestra. Just about every concert is 10% off in this package. Check out the schedule here, and let me know what you're interested in.

Me, I'm interested in:
Holiday Brass (12/18, 12/19) - Canadian Brass with members of the Philly Orchestra brass section
Enchanting Baroque (1/10-1/14) - Orchestra with David Daniels, countertenor
Kimmel Center Organ Debut! (5/11-13) - A new work from Gerry Levinson, works by Barber, Poulenc, and Saint-Saens

and less so:
Salute to Russia (3/16-3/18) - Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations, Symphony No. 4

Lemme know what you're interested in, and I'll see what I can work out.

Did the Eagles lose that game? Yes. No way around that.

That being said, the officiating was, well, terrible. The first half pass interference on Michael Lewis should have been on the offense - he made a clean play on the ball then got bear hugged. Drive result - field goal. After the blocked punt, the Giant's RB fumbled the ball on second down - no call. Drive result - touchdown. Then, at the end of the first half, Billy McMullan got bumped beyond five yards on the interception. Drive result - end of half. Finally, at the end of the game, I think they did a lousy job of hustling the ball to the line of scrimmage to let the Eagles get a play off. And somebody flopped on LJ Smith right before the two minute warning - arguably a delay of game, then the ref just walked the ball up to the line of scrimmage - that ball should be run into place.

Would it have made a difference? I can't say. But it would have been a lot less frustrating to watch.
