Enough is enough. OSes getting reinstalled this weekend.

Planning to build new desktop sooner rather than later. I'm going to hold off on a laptop for 9-18 months until Merom comes out and is debugged some. Also, with Vista on the horizon, there's no point in paying the Micro$oft tax until I can get something I don't already have. Anywho, looking at getting a low-end Athlon 64 because it doesn't cost much more than the Socket A chips left on the market, and the motherboards with integrated graphics (I don't game, it's just not worth the expense) are no cheaper either. Not sure if it's worth getting any sort of Media Center functionality, I kinda doubt it.

Back-to-back 4-day weeks have taken their toll - my body is sending me the 'four days of work done, time to shut down' signals. Tough luck body, one more day to go.
