Have returned. Have many (700+, I think) pictures, mostly (500+) of rocks. More details tomorrow.

I opened a fortune cookie this evening, having asked it what time zone I'll wake up in tomorrow. It said something about appreciating the culture and custom of China. This bodes poorly.
