Dec. 20th, 2007 06:44 amStrange dream: I swear I've had a variation on it before, but maybe I just had it earlier. You know, a dream and variations, or something.
Anyway, so Tony Barone is giving weekly piano lessons in some sort of musicians house thing, which is a rowhome somewhere in center city - he's up in a room on the third floor in a room with a piano and a bed, though at some point I figured out that it isn't Tony's bed in the room. Anyway, you get 10 minutes for $5.50, and so I've been going with various combinations of roommates (oh, huh, there was something about collecting fruit on street corners earlier, wasn't there? Several of us were spread around an intersection with boxes, and various fruits and vegetables were, oh, I don't know, like coming out of chutes from the buildings - there was a tomato box and a melon box, and we had to haul them over to Tony's, or something) - this time around it was
sylvansafekeepe and Jordan (who I haven't been roommates with in a long while, but somehow it made sense). There was a sign in the hall, saying Tony was 'tired' and would be back giving lessons next week. But he was around anyway, and maybe giving lessons to folks normally scheduled on Tuesday, because next Tuesday is Christmas and there wouldn't be lessons. But I hadn't practiced (because that never happened with me and lessons with Tony) and Tony was tired so the four of us (and maybe somewhere along the way Jordan turned into Eric, or maybe that was a different variation, who knows) sat around for the half-hour we would have occupied with lessons watching music videos, or looking back through Swat concert programs he had organized with Kendra. Oh, did I mention at one point that Tony was wearing scrubs?
Ok, time for work now.
