Oh look, another musical game.
Mar. 2nd, 2008 05:28 pmIn reference to discussions over dinner regarding this, I looked at the years in my music collection. Ignoring greatest hits albums and counting classical works by the year of their composition (as best I can figure out), I have eight CDs released in the 80s (there are 19 from the 50s, 14 from the 60s, 19 from the 70s, and 45 from the 90s).
One of them should be really easy.
One of them is a random live album from the tail-end of the career of an artist who is considered the father of his genre.
Three of them are self-titled solo debut albums.
Two more are the next two albums by one of these artists.
The last also contains part of the artist's name.
It's a bit of a stretch, but if you ignore the two follow-up albums, none of the six albums are from the same genre. Oh, and none were released before I was born.
Your challenge is to identify them. I think this is very doable. (Oh, and
think_too_much, I mentioned two of them over dinner. No fair guessing them.)
