The conductor of the community orchestra I joined has a very interesting phonetic alphabet for calling out rehearsal letters. On multiple occasions I've heard him use "Eyeball" for I. O was octopus the other week, and I'm pretty sure there was a "Quackerjack" for Q last week. This evening, with the 16-year old scholarship soloist standing next to him, he used "Hashish" for H.
