(no subject)

As has been noted in other fora, I am in Alaska on vacation for the next two weeks. Due to some interesting maneuvers, most of our luggage is not. We flew out of PHL at 7.30 EDT, arriving at Sea-Tac at about 10.30 local time, where we met my brother, who flew out to Seattle a few days earlier. We then scrambled to get on an earlier flight to Anchorage. Our luggage, did not, largely because we had to exit security to claim and recheck our bags, and we were perilously close to the 45 minute end of checked bags, so we decided to check in on the original flight and change at the gate. Curiously, my mother's suitcase made it onto the earlier flight, but none of the rest did. And the original flight is running about four hours behind schedule.

My update plan is to post pictures, when able, to Facebook, with more text-based updates here. If people complain, maybe pictures will end up here.
