The View From On High
May. 27th, 2005 04:05 am"Scrapple from the Apple" was not meant to be played on a banjo.
These were all taken from the top of Clothier. Except this first one, which puts things in perspective.

There are two sets of stairs to get into the bell tower. The first is a very tight spiral staircase that is completely enclosed within the masonry structure of the tower. The second is just as tight, but is open. There's a little landing area between the two flights; the walls at the landing area are solid, so from there you cannot see out.

Jawaad goes up...

...Jawaad comes down.

The entire top portion of the tower is screened off so things cannot fall, but it does slightly obstruct the otherwise phenomenal view. Remember, today (really yesterday, at this point) was a grey and overcast day.
