The danger of hiring a highway engineer from Jersey is that he thinks that roundabouts and traffic circles are good ideas. I don't think it's likely due to the nature of the project and the work, but I think it would work.

There's a traffic circle about two miles from my house. Recently, there was a major construction project in which it was rumored that they'd replace the circle with a traffic light. Instead, they kept the circle intact and added off-ramps for right-hand turns.

It's an abomination.

That being said, traffic circles (they're only roundabouts if you want to pretend you're in Britain) still rock.
