So the board in Suburban was all red. Based on the delay times, the 4:59 Bryn Mawr local was going to leave just a minute or two before the express. But I checked the Keystone schedule, and getting onto 3 track, even with 2 track out of comission, wasn't going to be an issue. But 15 minutes or so later I looked up from SWAPA and saw neon out the window. Which meant we weren't even at Overbrook yet. As we crawled through Overbrook, we were informed that there was train with a mechanical problem on 4 track. So we were stuck behind the local. And the local was offloading onto the wood platforms between the tracks, of which there are only two. So it was slow. Then the power went out. So I finished writing my comment to KEDG with the backlight on, sat back for a bit, then wrote this with the backlight. Thankfully the batteries are fresh (I changed them earlier in the trip). Le sigh...

UPDATE: My train, scheduled for a 5:34 arrival at Strafford, finally pulled in at 7.
