Am I actually crazy enough to take a day or two off work and go camping for Falcon Ridge this summer? Unclear.

Sometime in mid-late July, somewhere in upstate New York. I haven't given it any more thought than that.

i heard they got kicked out of the usual space and maybe wouldn't even exist this year, which is why I'm asking.

the only times I've gone were for one day, no overnighting. it's usually the weekend of G's birthday.

Does NEFFA have the lineup that Falcon Ridge has?

Dunno, I've never been. Lineup in what sense? Dance, music, participation, performers, ... ?

Music. I know that Eddie from Ohio will be at Falcon Ridge. I'm pretty sure Tracy Grammer has been there in years past, along with a basic who's who of the contemp. folk/singer songwriter world. I get the impression that Falcon Ridge is about music, and NEFFA is much more about dancing, and I have much more interest in one than the other.

My impression is that NEFFA is a lot about participation; I think there's a ton of music, but maybe not as much performance?
