Timeline - all times approximate:
A few days ago: irilyth calls for Dim Sum this morning.
-1000: It starts snowing.
0900: I wake up. There's lots of snow on the ground.
0945: Discussion with irilyth regarding Dim Sum.
1020: I leave the house on foot for the train.
1025: Confirmation from irilyth that others are heading for Dim Sum
1035: I see Amtrak heading inbound pass through train station.
1038: Call carpenter for Dim Sum status report. They're waiting for a train. We will stay in touch.
1040: Arrive at train station. Guy waiting there said scheduled train at 0942 didn't come.
1045: Receive call from carpenter. Swarthmore contingent aborting Dim Sum mission.
1047: Inbound SEPTA arrives at station.
1050: Outbound SEPTA arrives at station.
1055: Outbound Amtrak passes through station.
1100: Car arrives to take me home.

So close, yet so far. Oh well.

Yeah. I called irilyth at about 1040, found out dim sum was cancelled, waited around for about half an hour for the outbound train, of which there was no sign, though the inbound arrived only about twenty minutes late, then gave up and biked over to Swat to hang out.
