Feb. 12th, 2006 06:55 pmPicked up a decent selection of music Friday over lunch at the Ave. of Arts Tower. Simon Preston playing the complete Handel organ concerti, two Naxos discs (the Byrd 4 and 5 voice masses, Vivaldi recorder concerti), and a $3 Beethoven 7 and 8, which is pretty good (some of the sound is a little muddy, but not enough to actually complain about),
Can someone tell me why there are three feathers on the cover of the Handel? Does this make any sense at all?

Date: 2006-02-13 12:06 am (UTC)I have another one of those "Trio" collections- the complete Prokofiev concertos, which in a rather creepy coincidence I'm listening to for the first time right now. It has three rocks on the cover- pyrite, quartz, and a geode.
