I really want to like Linux. I really like the idea of using some other operating system, but none has ever really done it for me. I read a review of KDE 3.2 on Ars Technica this evening, and it has features that sort of appeal to me. For the record, OSX annoys me to no end. Also, with the end of Red Hat as I know it, I probably should find a new distro to use on that partition I never use. Also, I should get my router Netreged and put my old box to good use. Any suggestions on any of these accounts.
I gave in and put something in my AIM profile on Trillian. It's nothing special. If you don't know how to find me, and if you want to know how to find me, let me know.
I really should look into picking up the most recent Guster album and Fountains of Wayne. Yeah, it's sickly popular, but heaven forbid something really popular should actually be good. (speaking of which) Is it worth picking up the new Five for Fighting? I've not been grabbed by the single, but we'll see. Americatown as a whole was a very good album, and Message for Albert (the first) isn't as strong in some areas, but absolutely gorgeous as far as stylistic variance is concerned. The single sounds like Americatown lite - just watered down to sell albums. Hmm...
I think people are jumping off the bridge too soon about Billy Wagner's finger. Yeah, it's a bit of a concern, but I'd rather he rest it up now and get it healthy than have it come back later in the season. The bullpen is better prepared this year than last to close without the closer, but it's something I'd rather not see. The sixers are just a mess and I don't want to talk about that now. What's it going to to take to convince Reid et al to bring TO to town - it's worth the price.
