Both Sarah Harmer's I'm a Mountain and Neko Case's Fox Confessor Brings the Flood are quite good and beautiful albums, in very different ways. Sarah Harmer creates a gorgeous soundscape and blends her voice into it, while Neko Case, as always, puts her voice front and center to fabulous effect.

The McGarrigles are great! The family has had a CD since forever ago. Berit got to see them back during the winter - I was quite envious.
