Empty Nest

Collectively, my brother and I are 14/15 (with the 15th, Middlebury, yet to report). Carleton is the favorite.

think_too_much and I signed a lease this evening in Ardmore. Floorplan (PDF). We take possession April 1. Full move-in is targeted for April 8. More details to follow.

Very clever, moving there shortly before they put the new Apple Store in Suburban Square later this year! Nick and I are sure to visit you this way :-)

I love Trader Joe's and the Farmer's Market. I avoid the rest of that mess, though. Plus, they're evil and they're trying to raze the Ardmore shopping district for a new parking garage.

I'm actually peeved that Apple Store chose Ardmore over Center City, and more peeved that they chose Suburban Square. But I'll still go to the store grand opening. (No idea when... but it's on a list of store locations for 2006.)

Wow, funny---that floor plan looks a lot like Greylock 301, only with the door in a different spot.... and with a walk-in closet in the master bedroom! No fair; now I want one! :^)

The Greylock layout is much better from a living room perspective - moving the hallway to the middle of the wall and putting the door on the other side make it much harder to arrange living room furniture in Ardmore. I think the layout is fairly typical of 60s apartment buildings.
