Grawr. Something may or may not be wrong with my computer. It crashed overnight and now is unstable with the case on, but runs fine (so far) with the case off. To get to this point, I tried underclocking the processor (wouldn't post), clearing the CMOS, removing a stick of RAM (I had been checking instability in Memtest86 that Ubuntu was so considerate as to put as a GRUB option), replacing the stick of RAM, briefly running Memtest with the case off, then putting the case on, failing memtest, and instantly stopping to fail as soon as I took off the case.

I'm not really sure what the problem is, system temps look to be about 5-6ÂșC higher with the case on, but well within safe operating ranges (CPU was topping out in the mid 40s with the case on). Something is amiss, but I don't know what. Time will tell, but for now, it works, and so I'm happy.

Fans look fine. I may need a bigger heatsink, but that's been something I've been thinking about anyway.
