That was...odd...
May. 22nd, 2004 09:32 amHad a very bizarre dream last night. The protagonist struck me as a cross between
ccommack and Riff, though I think
ccommack was the dominant persona. The dream was from my perspective. After some very odd goings on that I don't really remember, except maybe for a scene in which an elevator turned sideways, we ended up in the New York subway, where George Steinbrenner was building some sort of assembly line. It was evil. Definately evil. Anywho,
ccommack was generally bungling the placement of stuff on the rails for the assembly machine that came by, assembling them (it was making another assembly machine), but there was another worker showing us (him?) how to do it. Finally, the assembly machine was done, and it was very nifty. A higher-up came by, telling us that the water defense systems were done, including the sharks that could be guided, I think by piping in scent, but I don't remember. Then someone came in with a whole bunch of vicious attack ducks, but they were only attacking each other. I remember walking away from the main pack of ducks, saying 'Boy, I'm glad to be away from Afflack", but nobody was listening, and I said it two or three times. Who says their marketing campaign isn't successful? There was a very odd scene here where somebody started attacking one of the ducks with his teeth, and a little black blob popped out of the duck's head which may or may not have been the brain. A tour group came through, there may have been a bunch of Swat-folk involved, I don't remember, the only person I do remember was Olivia G. Anyway,
ccommack did something wrong, and got put in a closed tank with several of the ducks. The tank was slowly filled with water. Somehow, I couldn't see but I know this happened, he managed to sic the ducks on each other and escape into the water defense system, where he somehow avoided the sharks and then got out of the cages protecting the place because someone on the outside hacked into the system. I should also mention that the dream went into 3rd person following
ccommack at this time, and it may have ceased to be him (perhaps a while back), I reallly don't recall. Anyway, he got out and wandered off, talking with someone on a cell phone and trying to avoid explaining why he couldn't explain what had just happened. Very strange.
I hope my new pajamas don't cause strange dreams all the time - though it would give an excuse to post more. We'll see.
