(no subject)

Am trying dangerous? experiment - using the same Firefox/Thunderbird/Pidgin profiles in XP and Linux. I've done similar things before, mostly involving copying and pasting the profile, but never actually using the same profile. I seem to be having difficulties with getting Firefox plugins to work in Linux (Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon), but everything else seems to be working ok. Thoughts and comments appreciated.
