Anyone out there play Psychonauts? It's recently up on Steam, is supposed to be quirky, I tend to like platformers more than other types of games.

Anyone, anyone?

Jackie got it over the summer - I thought it was really pretty and seemed quite fun, though I was never the one playing it.

I haven't had a chance to play much of it, but it's awfully shiny--it has a great sense of humor (it's written by one of the guys who did Monkey Island), and it's quite fun to play.

Indeed, Psychonauts is fantastic platforming fun, and is beautiful and quirky and even has decent voice talents. All of the kids have their own personalities, and the environments are varied and interesting.

Tim Schafer is indeed one of the brilliant people behind all the lucasarts classics, including monkey island, maniac mansion, and day of the tentacle.
