Can someone leave a comment here?

I'm trying to test some modified filtering. Thanks.

EDIT: Thanks, no need for further comments left for comment's sake.

The strawberries on the bag on the counter were covered in a nice thick blanket of delicious white fuzz.

That's all the news I have for now.

Casualties of war - it happens. I don't think there are any culinary surprises/disasters waiting, but you never know. The leftover chinese thing from last week should be eaten soon, if it isn't already too late. There's still some frozen rice that it can be eaten with.

When you get a minute, can you go to my computer and close Thunderbird, my e-mail client? Thanks.

The bananas are mostly brown- throw them in the freezer?

I'm going to just assume the Chinese is dead and gone, and make a broccoli omelette or something.

Have you gotten AIM up and running yet?

Thanks.

If you could bag them in threes and freeze them, it'd be good. The muffins should be eaten sooner rather than later, but they were a Monday night project and still should be edible - they aren't bad, but they could be better.

I've had AIM running, but I'd prefer to have it running with all of my settings, which I need to snarf from my machine. It should take all of five minutes and is on my list of things to do if I stop it at home; alternatively I've thought about how to give someone else the directions to do it. I don't think it's something that can be e-mailed, though.

You could call me to do it, if email won't work.

No, I need some data transfered. I may try and stop in tomorrow, or if you end up coming out here, I'll try and talk you through burning it to CD.

*Comment*.

What are you trying to do?

I have thunderbird on my home machine configured to filter things into folders on the server in my closet which is not accessible to the outside world. This means that any incoming mail that triggers these filters doesn't get seen, or only gets seen briefly, by any other pieces of software accessing my e-mail account. I'm running PortableThunderbird from my USB drive on my brother's old desktop, and while I'm perfectly happy to ignore any/all of the SWIL mailing lists, it's much more convenient to get LJ comment notifications in my e-mail. So I tried to setup a filter here that copies said LJ comment notifications into a separate folder, hopefully before my copy of thunderbird running at home grabs them and deletes them from the server, but it didn't work consistently. So I had Chris close thunderbird. Which means I now have to deal with swil.org, but I think I'll just dump them into one big folder and process them later.

I think I was screwing up the unpacking. I tried the program you linked to, and then it worked.
