There's definitely less pain than there used to be, and there are more sitting positions that are comfortable than there used to be. But I'm not sure the pain levels have changed that much over the last day or two. What I have noticed today is that my stomach muscles are much stronger - it's much easier to sit up from a lying-down position than it used to be. My plan is to try a half-day of work tomorrow and a full day Thursday - no guarantees.

Awesome that your stomach muscles are already noticably better. Mine took a while to get back to that point, but my incision was a lot longer than yours likely was (about four inches--my appendectomy was partially incidental, in that it was in the middle of a 14-inch stretch of intestine which was removed; but the acute appendicitis was what led them to do the surgery about six months before it had originally been scheduled for).

Yeah - I'm looking at an inch-and-a-half to two inches.

Ouch!
