This is a chart of activity in my accounts from Jan 1 to the beginning of last week. You'll note that one of the categories is not like the others.

EDIT: This is not money spent, it's number of transactions.

Transportation includes both car and SEPTA-related expenses. Entertainment contains things like concert tickets, books, and CDs. Neither Trader Joe's nor Other Food do not include cash transactions.

And since LJ has been really quiet, I'm an H.

Huh. I think my pie chart would look very different, but I haven't been keeping track. Probably it would be a good thing to do. Although there's no way I could lump "rent" in with "bills".

I thought I was clearer in my description than I was. It's number of transactions, not amount of money spent. So in this regard, rent is much more like a bill.

Huh. That makes more sense. So did something keep track of this for you, or did you have to figure it all out for yourself, to make the graph?

It's a double.

Was I beaten because my opponent had a secret plan?

I'm not Heinrich Himmler?

Hubert Humphrey. Nixon campaigned on having a "secret plan" to end the Vietnam War in 1968.

Fair. You've got two questions.

And he's so much more fun as a triple.

Real or fictional?

Living or dead?

Fictional.

Dead.

I have a double. Did I write about a distant descendant of the disgraced leader of the American rebellion?

I'm not Harry Harrison?

Correct.

Er, not sure of the double statements or the implication, but this might be one as well. Was a dozen not enough for me?

Double indicates that the first and last name both begin with the target letter.

Is this a double or not?

Very nice.

You've two questions.

I need a TJs run right now, although there's no way I spend as much there as I do on other food.

But that's the key here. It's not money spent, it's number of transactions. I guess that should be made more clear.

From: [identity profile] ruthling.livejournal.com
oooh, that makes way more sense.

Still, I go to TJs maybe once a month.

Yeah, it's much easier to go when it's across the street. Also, there's much less incentive to make big runs and stock up, easier just to run over and get what's needed.

Yeah, I apparently averaged a bit over five transactions a month for the past six months between the Giant and the PriceRite, which are about equally close. And I was out of town for at least a quarter of that period.

Double.

Was a song about my death sung to my creator during a break in the festivities at Noreascon IV?

No Quarter, NO QUARTER! You damn well earned your fate.
Give Harrington our compliments; we're sorry you are late.

I'll wait to take my second question until you answer this one.
