If I were to setup a midweek bridge night at some point, would you be interested in participating? Do you know others who would also be interested?

As long as midweek meant Thursday I would definitely be interested...Mary would also, I imagine.

No, I'm not interested at all. I hate bridge.

Isn't time spent playing bridge just wasting time you could be playing other games?

I hate to break this to you, but look at [livejournal.com profile] think_too_much's journal with his stylesheet, and look at the comment links.

Hide. Hide behind solid walls made of Magic cards.

Hey, I prefer to call a spade a spade. Or should I perhaps club him? (I know, I'm asking to get smacked...)

I actually had the interior of my door senior year tiled with Magic cards. It looked rather nice.

I would play sometimes, not every week, but only if it was really Bridge Night. Cocktails, bridge mix, monogrammed bridge decks and personalized scorepads. I find bridge a somewhat interminable game for the same basic reason I'm not a fan of Puerto Rico (the game; the protectorate is totally fine by me), but I love accoutrements.

Maybe the bridge decks and matching pads should be my housewarming gift...

I have some scoring pads somewhere, they were a gift (along with two matching decks and a copy of The Tao of Bridge). Personally, I'm more a fan of the sharpie and Sharples tray for scoring.
