I have at least one album in my collection that won a Grammy (or contains a song that won a Grammy) for every year going back to 1995, except for 2000. I have to cheat to get '97. How many can y'all name?

EDIT: Double-checked, I can't cheat to get 1994. Double bonus points for figuring what I thought I could cheat with.

By cheat, I assume you mean "own a different recording of the particular classical composition that won"?

For the record, if I don't cheat, the best I can do is the five-year stretch from 1966 to 1970, tacking on 1971 if I ever dig up that random-ass recording of "Shaft" we have lying around somewhere in Jersey.

No, the point is the recording, so a different recording just doesn't count. One of the cheats involves the a Greatest Hits album, the other involves abusing the songwriter category.
