I have a 19" 1280x1024 LCD in fine working order. D-sub (15-pin) connector only, it has speakers. No stuck pixels, though one or two that pretend every now and then. I'd be more likely to upgrade if I knew I could sell the current one - any takers?

Also, if you were flipping through a web page, and saw this ad, what would it remind you of?

Hm, not really. Yes, the color scheme is similar, but the shapes are really pretty different; a series of chevrons is pretty common, and doesn't remind me of the pointless arrow. Every once in a while I come across something that does remind me of it, and it's usually glaring. (And every so often I see an actual instance of it still hanging about, like at the BWI rail station.)

It doesn't look like the Amtrak symbol, but it does strongly evoke a sense of "trains," despite the text, and also despite my personal tendency not to think about trains very much.

Hmm...

Now I just need to find a replacement (at the time I posted, I was strongly considering a replacement, but a closer look in-store revealed more faults, and it wasn't in stock anyway, and I didn't care enough to go hunting for it). If you're in no particular hurry to get the monitor, I'll let you know when I settle on a replacement, and there's no guarantee I find something I like more. If you have a drop-dead, I need a monitor by X date, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
