Basic Ubuntu functionality is a go. I still need to configure the wired ethernet port, get a music player working. I need to tweak the imap certificate on my desktop (and probably set it to a static IP address). Also I should set up samba. I should find a remotely usable SMTP server. I need to find the icon for thunderbird. I haven't touched the appearances/UI settings yet. I should see about power management.
I need to readjust to typing with a touchpad under my hands, so I'm not constantly hitting it and relocating the cursor.
I need to remap the right-shift key, or just get used to it.
Most importantly, I need to get some sleep.
