On your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first twenty songs on the list (no matter how cheesy or embarrassing), and write down your favorite line of the song. Try to avoid putting the song title in the line. Then, have your friends comment and see if they know the songs. No cheating!

There were a bunch of instrumentals that got skipped, and one gregorian chant

1) The way you looked at life / In your funny way

2) She just wanders around / unaffected by / the winter winds

3) Then watched the sky / Then wanted to cry (this was hard, since half the song is repetition of the title)

4) With the thoughts I'd be thinkin' I could be another Lincoln

5) Wait / Don't turn the page / I'm not finished

6) Just like a willow/ That bends to the water / And clings to the shore

7) Businessen they drink my wine / plow men dig my earth

8) A man stakes his neighbour's cat to the barbecue / and turns on the gas / now are you going to talk he says / Or am I going to have to get nasty

9) Out here on this highway the rules are still the same / Back roads never carry you where you want 'em to

10) When I feel you close to me / What can I do but fall?

11) They were counting down the days to stab the brother in the be right back after this

12) There's been a load of compromising / on the road to my horizon

13) I've touched this place before / so we're in another time

14) Money can't replace it / no memory can erase it / and I know I'm never going to find / another one to compare

15) We would all vote him / but frankly to be loved to death

16) When I'm broke and I got no place to go

17) Some kind of savior singing the blues / a derelict in your duct tape shoes

18) Everybody got a breakin' point / And baby there you are

19) I met a lovesick daughter of the San Joaquin / she showed me colors I'd never seen / Drank the bottom out of my canteen

20) Perpendicular teeth / in middle America / deliver the kidney / in my double-decker double-wide

I don't think it says nearly as much about what I listen to because the shuffle was a bit clumpy. I like the results of this one better. And there are a few that just about everyone should be able to get, and only a few that I don't think anyone will get.

7. All Along the Watchtower, either Dylan or Hendrix

Beyond that...no idea.

Song yes, performer no. Since there's actually no way to get this, I'll tell you (and everybody else) that it's by The Paperboys, everyone's favorite Mexican Celtic Bluegrass band (just ask - I dare ya).

Ok that's just downright weird. I kind of like it though. I'm surprised at how little I got off your list since your radio show playlists often include plenty of songs I've got in my collection.

Oh, I didn't get any of yours either, so don't worry about it. See above comments about Watchtower, but you're in the right ballpark. The version of If I Only Had a Brain I have is by Andy Breckman.

#14 is I Lost It. The version I know is by Lucinda Williams.

11) Jason Mraz, "I Won't Worry". I LOVE the acoustic version of that song. He does all sorts of little vocal riffs and stuff. Mmmmm. ;)

Yeah, it's fun! I've got the whole album (Waiting for my Rocket to Come) lying around somewhere, let me know if you want to borrow it.

I also got #4. #15 is Green and gray by Nickel Creek, but I though it was "most likely to be loved to death".
