Is it a bad sign that I'm considering buying a large bag of flour (25 lbs, I think) the next time I go to Costco? I feel like the last 10 lb bag purchased from the grocery store disappeared very quickly.

25 pounds is a perfectly reasonable amount of flour if you have room to store it.

My mother was complaining, just the other day, that she can no longer get 100 lb bags of flour like she used to be able to 15 years ago.

You've been defloured.

I think use of flour is a good sign. Baked goods and/or paste for papier macher.

What do you store your flour in?

Only if you don't let your friendslist eat what gets made out of the extra 15 pounds.
