Yesterday, while rolling butter into flour for a pie crust, it was suggested to me that, though it would be less flakey, it would be a whole lot less effort to use the cuisinart.

Some people just don't get it.

Well, I can say that the best piecrust I have ever had was made by Lane Wilder, and she mixed it in the cuisinart. The crust was light and flakey, not heavy or soggy; and it was delicious.

I think comparison taste tests are needed;-)

Google makes "cuisinart" sound like a brand/company, not a particular object or type of food (that was my first assumption--that it was something like Bisquick). So what does it mean?
