Fankford train, making all stops...
Jun. 16th, 2004 05:12 pmInspected more bridges, including a few 'bridges' that were part of the el over Girard and Daupin. No PCCs on Girard, unfortunately, but the infrastructure is there and looks pretty good.
Skated about 3 miles on the Pennsy line to Norristown (okay, it's not that anymore, but...), was very humid. I also came within inches of running over a medium sized rodent. Not a RoUS by any means, but good sized. Likely big enough to put me on the ground if I hit it. It ran in front of me, stopping for a brief second in my path, then skittered off the path, avoiding disaster. It wasn't quite official football sized, but you get the idea.
Mmmmmmm...new Old 97s...drool...heard "New Kid" on the way to work, made me very happy. SSW will be great. Old 97s need to tour more.
The linux adventure continues. I've got slack installed, but due to stupidity on my part, I can't really boot to it, and I don't want to mess with overwriting the MBR until I back everything up. At that point, I might as well repartition and reinstall everything, and that's the route I'm headed down. Oh, and opposed to the massive suckage that is a Debian install, Slackware installed relatively easily.
EDIT: I really do know HTML. Really.
