Those of you really keeping good score at home will have noticed that I've dumped the Mars Rovers and Cassini from my friends page, they're just not very interesting and I don't care anymore.  Oh well.

Thoughts on Catwoman, I, Robot, and/or Thunderbirds.  Frankly, I don't have high hopes for any of them.  Oh well.  Really should see Spidey 2.

I concur.

I'd have to say that I don't think there's any way that Catwoman can even come close to Batman Returns. Looks like another Daredevil plus a lot of hinting at S&M. And I've already seen the climactic girl fight when Halle Berry beat up the other woman in the most recent James Bond film.

I, Robot would be far more tolerable if they named it something that didn't involve famous authors spinning around like turbines in their graves. Also, I see nothing to distinguish it from, more or less, a crappier Minority Report.

Thunderbirds... wait, why are you even talking about that one? Nostalgia factor for a TV series from your childhood? (I'm aware of its existence but don't remember ever seeing it, so it might be before my time or something.)

And, yes, you should see Spider-man 2, since it's a pretty good movie, all in all.

I, Robot would be good if Asimov's name were not connected with it.

Bastards.

No, I, Robot would just be a tolerable Blade Runner/Minority Report rip-off if Asimov's name were not connected with it. Either way, it goes down in the record books as an amazing rarity: a Will Smith movie *not* released on the 4th of July.

Yes, you should see Spiderman 2, as it is tons of campy comic fun. And then we can both kvetch together about the GLARING innacuracy of the subway scene.
Unless, of course, Sam Raimi's New York is in an alternate universe that never saw the demise of the Third Avenue El. Yes, I prefer to believe that.
