It isn't college without.......STREAKERS!! More on this later. Anyway, went to first half of Girls Soccer game and saw the Swarthmore Pep Band. Alto, Bari, Trumpet, Bongos, Cowbell, Woodblock. It brought about pangs of "I miss marching band" not from the marching point, but just bringing it all together behind the sports teams. So I sent some e-mails and am "in the loop" now. Then I went and sat in back of Sharples for an hour, waiting to get in for registration, which went fine. General Chem, Honors Linear Algebra, Colonial Latin America, Jazz Improv, Engin. Methodology. Fun. Anyway, dance tonight. I went for about an hour. About halfway through my time there, we hear lots of applause. A few minutes later, word comes through the grapevine that the appluse was for streakers, and then they went through again. More applause when they come out of Kohlberg, fully re-robed. Crazy crazy place this college thing is. Anyway, after dance Katie, Matt, Elizabeth, and Brita (pardon my spelling) went back up to Liz/Brita quad and ordered Pizza. Katie (one of the girls next door) and I think Elizabeth descended into Latin Land. Shudder. But we played a game of sets (good card game, btw) and then ate pizza and talked and stuff. Then I helped Helen (maybe, maybe not) get her ethernet card hooked up, set the printer up in the process, saw her CDs (David Gray, DMB, Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman) and recommended XPN to her. All in all a productive night.
