deathbysnusnu and I have developed a new time keeping scheme. Minutes stay the same length. However, everything else is converted to hexadecimal. There are 16 hours in a day, 90 minutes to an hour.
Right now, it's F59. 15 hours, 89 minutes.
That's right kids, if you were to build a hex-clock, it would confuse the hell out of people. 459, for example, is actually 7:29 AM. 945 is 2:39 PM.
And, best of all, there are still 60 minutes in an hour. It's just 0x60 now.
It might be a bit bad for analog watches, however. But we can solve that by making a watch that has a separate hour ring inside the minute ring, which, given that most already have the hour hand being about half the length of the minute hand, is a rather trivial change in terms of thought processes.
