The subject line sums things up, but life is good. It developed out of a conversation with [livejournal.com profile] nautiluspq earlier today in Lang. It's probably not that bad, but it certainly feels like it.

Now that I've put some things down on paper, the Saint-Saens paper doesn't seem so bad, but it will still take some work to get done. I'm going to try and draft the E57 case study this weekend, but now that I've said I'll go a hobby shop with Aaron, this may not happen. Mmm...trains!

Football folks, what do we want to do about dinner during the game? Weather report is for 61 with a few showers, but grilling at halftime still is appealing. Thoughts?

Between the late game and the WSRN meeting at 8, the Orchestra 2001 concert may not happen for me on Sunday night. Oh well, win some, lose some. Bang on a Can Friday night should be pretty cool, and the Mozart Requiem sounds good for Saturday night.

I prefer "undersleeped", myself... :P

So what's your Music 22 paper on, now? And how long can we talk about having any work done on it before we attract an "I hate you all" from Chris?

Yes, but undersleeped doesn't really fit with anything else.

I'm doing it on Saint-Saens, the Carnival of the Animals, and his other light works.

Chris may have a topic (Satie), so I think a few more hours will be necessary.

Tsk, tsk. I'm disappointed.

C'mon, feel the hate!

Appealing, yes. But we'd probably miss some of the the second half. Perhaps fire up the grill after the game ends? Or would that be silly?

What hobby shop are you going to and when?

Why not fire up the grill midway through the second quarter, so it's ready at halftime? Also, I have a WSRN meeting at 8, so after the game isn't so feasible.

As per the hobby shop, don't know yet, probably early afternoon or late morning.
