May. 25th, 2002 12:39 amObservation of the night: Swinging with a wallet in your back pocket is not comfortable.
What are they doing to Lizzie? There's this giant growth on the back. It's, well, ugly. Being as I remember (albeit vaguely) the last addition, and before it was there, it doesn't seem fair for me to see the next addition. I liked my elementary school the way it was, thank you very much. Growth, schmoth.
Anyway, by now that you should've figured out (or not) that I was at the Lizzie Haddon playground tonight. Jen and I hung out there for about an hour catching up and such not. Good to catch up with people.
They finally built the Friendly's. The one on 70 by Staples that I've been telling y'all about for years now. I converted the architect's plans to the engineer's plan so that Schoor DePalma could do a site plan. Good stuff. I should go there sometime. Apparently Laura and Sam both work there, so it should be better than the Westmont Friendly's (see last night's post).
Jordan has got me into a dangerous thing. Jedi Knight 2. I've never been a first person shooter person, and I'm not converted yet. Yet. It's Star Wars! And I get a light saber. Force powers! You get the idea. Oh well, I've got the summer to work it all out.
Appel Farm is coming up. I really should get that organized. But not tonight. The time for that will come, but tickets shouldn't be hard to come by. Dave and Tracy. For a third time! Unfortunately, I'll have to miss Singer-Songwriter, but there's something cool looking in Cinci that may satisfy my craving for this kind of thing. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, www.xpn.org. That might help.
