As some of you may know, my teeth have problems. In a nutshell, it's like this:
The two Xs in the middle are the center teeth. The little xs are baby teeth. There never were permanent teeth to come in there - my brother and mother have the same problem. The rest of my permanent teeth have tended to come in late; X-rays show that there aren't teeth to replace the babies, so no worries there. Towards the very end of high school (or perhaps that summer, I forget when) stuff was put on the upper four baby teeth to make them look like permanent teeth. Somewhat more recently the middle two upper teeth were adjusted to match the "teeth" around them, bringing the things to (O is modified tooth):
This afternoon, I spent 2.5 hours getting the bottom four gussied up like the top ones. I'm still getting used to them. The feeling on my bottom lip is strange, my tongue feels a bit trapped, but I should get used to it in a day or two.
Heading back to Haddonfield tomorrow for band alumni reunion thingy, should be a good way to catch up with lots of folks I haven't seen in way too long. Seeing Anne last weekend was totally random and good.
A few keys on the laptop keyboard don't work - Del and down arrow are the ones I'm noticing right now. The usual fix for the i-k row (squeezing) doesn't work, I'll check for loose screws and then just write it off to age, I have a regular keyboard I'll start using if it actually becomes a problem.

Although, while on the subject of mouth things, it is rather annoying to have a very strong gag reflex. I really can't bring myself to swallow anything without chewing.
