May. 29th, 2002 12:48 amSo here's a trip down memory lane. In my kitchen is a card from my Dad's old office with the phone number boasting a 609 area code. How long ago did we change over from that? Anyway, it seems kind of fitting for my dad's fiftieth, which was today (28th).
Finally, a night where I don't spend the whole time staring at my computer. It would be nice if the gym were air conditioned or something. Legs dead from heat, but hockey fun. Sentence structure unimportant. The usual gang was there, good times were had by all.
I'm convinced it's impossible to drive through Haddonfield and not hit a light. I hit four of the five on the way home. Why not, at say, 11 PM, change the lights to flashing yellow in the primary direction and flashing red on the side streets. Do I really have to sit for two minutes waiting for invisible cars to go through the light? Oh well.
There's a part of me that really enjoys going out, running around or something, and getting sweaty. I don't know why. It's just fun. It's that repressed side of me that likes the wind in his face and the sun shining down. The rest of me just isn't like that. But it's been fun to fly down the hill in Haddon Heights (alongside the park, just past the ampitheater) and just coast for a while. That being said, I'm going to expand my skating route to include that winding part by the lake along the Audubon / Mt. Ephraim border. 3 miles will be pretty good, take about 25 minutes or so.
What, me ramble?
