Musings on having spent all day watching ESPN

So on the top ten plays of the week, Berman shows a clip of the Heights/Twp basketball game. I forget who wins, but trailing at the end of the game, the inbounds pass is blocked, the inbounder recovers, and launches a full-court prayer that goes in. Cool clip, cooler that it's the two towns bordering my home town.

Later in the top ten, there were some hockey clips. Gosh I miss having hockey to watch on TV. That would make these weeks so much better.

The Dolphins have ugly uniforms. The orange jerseys they wore last week on MNF were hideous, the all dark-teal unis this week were just as awful. During the Browns-Fins game, the Browns tried a field goal somewhere in the third quarter. CLANG. It was really an impressive sound, clanging off the right post of the upright. For those of you who saw my away message, it really was a miserable game, both teams scored an early touchdown, then the game was knotted at 7 until the Fins kicked a field goal with 15 seconds left to win.

Mmm...MNF tomorrow...

But...but...but...

I don't have a problem...I've watched at least part of a football game everyday since last Saturday...there's nothing wrong with 10 straight days of football...really...

Yeah, holy crap. When you're watching a game between two 2-12 teams, you are hopeless.

Even the announcers were getting the giggles.
