I've seen "Manos" The Hands of Fate twice. This can't be healthy.

But much fun was had at Larry's. Latkes are always good, even if they're a week late, because I didn't get any during Chanukkah. Chinese = good. Manos = really really bad, but good fun. MST3K outtakes good. Without a doubt, the best was guy walks onto set holding plate of waffles, and announces confidently "Pancakes." Maybe you just have to see it. Then there was name game, but while we were coming up with names, there was Larry and jere7my doing Dylan imitations (with not the right words), and then Jim doing Torgo (from Manos) doing dinner, then someone (Larry?) doing Shatner doing Torgo. It was hillarious.

It took five hours, but the cats got to me. They always do - my eye started to itch, and given the sleep I got last night (very little, it seems), it was thus time to go home.

Oh, by the way, Trillian 3.0 alphabatizes my buddy list. This makes me extremely happy.

I liked the parts where Crow's puppeteer would flub a line and burst into a string of profanity. Yeah, Joel confusing waffles and pancakes was one of the more amusing screw-ups. :)

I also liked the one when Crow was on fire, and there was one point where Crow had his, uh, hockey face mask, I mean hair, down, and it was a totally different look for him.

Oh yeah, isn't there a part where the fire gets out of control and they lose the puppet? I have to watch that again sometime.

I don't know how this is possible, but the more I hear about Manos, the more I want to see it. You'd think I would have learned the perils of such thinking with the Star Wars Holiday Special, but no...;
