And you'd thought I'd forgotten all about this...

I'm an R.

You know I'm not Richard III, Sir Robin, Teddy Roosevelt, Rollo, Edward Rochester, Agneta Rautavaara, Andy Roddick, William T. Riker, Rodin, Rosencrantz, Riddick, Rincewind, or Ronaldinho.

I'm Real, Male, European, Not Alive, Not Born in the 20th Century, Not in Music, In Politics, Not Pre-Renasisance, Not British, and Not the Ruler of a Region or Country.

Click here if you've forgotten the rules.

[livejournal.com profile] fiddledragon, [livejournal.com profile] tirerim, and [livejournal.com profile] sildra have stumped me and have identified their guesses and asked questions based on the last post. Everyone is free to fire questions at will.

Hrm...backdating does in fact make the entry disappear from friends pages. I'll keep updating this post, but if interest wanes, I'll make a fresh post.

That sounds incredibly familiar, but I can't think of anyone.

Rasputin. The Tsarina put so much faith in him because he claimed to be able to control her son's hemophilia.

Did Diomedes and Odysseus kill me in my sleep?

King Rhesus. He had those nice white horses which Diomedes stole. The prophecy was that if he spent a night on Trojan soil, the city would never fall. So Diomedes and Odysseus went out to kill him in his sleep.

I'm probably going to jump up and run to kick myself when you tell me who this is, because I'm drawing a blank on something that seems so familiar.

(Question asked if people lived in fear of our travel accessory)

Apparantly we are not Rincewind -- from Discworld; has a Luggage with hundreds of little feet that enjoys killing things.

Are we British?

Um, I hate to nitpick, but didn't the luggage belong to Twoflower?

He gave it to Rincewind at the end of the first book...or at least, the Luggage seems to have decided that it's Rincewind's - I haven't read the first one in a long time. In all the rest of the Rincewind ones, the Luggage is quite definitely his.
