Train of Thought, now leaving on Track 4
Jan. 19th, 2005 12:27 amSo McGarity puts some reserve reading on blackboard. Only it's basically unreadable on screen as a PDF. The irony of having to print out a 43 page PDF to do reading for Environmental Engineering is not lost on me. I'm not going to print it, I'll just not do the reading for McGarity. This is a common occurance.
Speaking of irony, for those of you who didn't see my AIM away message today, I just realized today the beauty of the situation in which the doctor who treated me for an ice skating injury is named Lutz.
Speaking of said injury, I made it through today with one crutch and no fracture boot. Being able to carry things is amazing. I can serve myself in Sharples! My ankle is a little sore from having been walked on all day, but it will get stronger. I think I'll be without crutch by the end of the week.
Operation get PT and gym credit is underway - will be calling the trainer and seeing about PT. Then I'll try and get gym credit for it. If not, I'll probably do "Aquatics for Fitness" second half, or something like that.
Workbox, unlike another campus service, doesn't suck. They promptly confirmed my e-mail and came this morning to fix my heat. I have a new valve on my radiator and can adjust it with some effect - when it's off, the heat is off. This is an improvement over how it used to be, which was always on, even when the valve was closed.
Spaceballs last night has reminded me that I need to show "Bridge on the River Kwai". Great movie. #55 on imdb, #13 on the AFI list from a few years ago. Maybe Friday nightbefore inauguration, more likely next weekend, stay tuned.
