Poa Pratensis 2:1 2-10-05
Feb. 10th, 2005 02:25 pmAlison Krauss & Union Station - I'll Remember You Love in my Prayers
Tim Easton - Lexington Jail
Jimmy Smith - C Jam Blues *
Chris Smither - Crocodile Man
Lyle Lovett - Don't Touch my Hat
Paperboys - Molinos
Amy Correia - Dollar Lake
Sonny Landreth - Levee Town
Eddie from Ohio - Baltimore
Dolly Parton - I Don't Believe You've Met my Baby
Erin McKeown - Blackbirds
The Jayhawks - Stumbling Through the Dark
Adrienne Young & Little Sadie - Leather Britches
John Hiatt - Thank God the Tiki Bar is Open
* Jimmy Smith died this week. He was a great Hammond B-3 organ player. Not having a jazz show this semester and having heard of his passing this morning, I decided that he deserved a track.
---
I think it's time to admit to myself that it's no longer a folk show that plays country and bluegrass, but it's a country show that plays folk and bluegrass. I really should compare it with some of my freshman playlists and see how much more country I've gotten. Tune in Tuesday 10-11 AM for the first installment of "Dead White Men," my Renaissance and Baroque show.

think_too_much (which almost came out as "thunk_too_much") comments: "Another post from Underhill? You're a bad peron."
