Back for more?
Nov. 15th, 2003 04:30 pmThe advent of a seriously active LJ community among my friends here at Swat have, at least for now, inspired a spark of hope within me that I can maintain mine. I think we all know this won't happen, but I'm going to try.
Resolutions:
# I will post here once a week. I know, there are people here who post several times a day, but one must start slowly.
# I will regularly post my radio show playlists. Just because I can.
# I will check my friends's LJs more than once a week.
# I will respond to comments left in my journal.
# I will uphold all of these resolutions for at least a month.
Okay, some thoughts from over the last few days.
The Jazz Band concert was a lot of fun. I'm not sure I want to hear any my solos ever again, but it was a good time. Thanks for coming
ccommack. To the rest of you, you missed a good time.
Well, I was going to say more, but updating my friends page sapped the creative thread that had been going for a while. Maybe it will return.

Date: 2003-11-15 09:53 pm (UTC)Regarding my solo style, every one is different. I don't know why I'm softer and more mellow, that's just how I'm inclined to play. Clifford and Miles are both great trumpeters, but they're completely different players, and there's a time and a place for both.
